About Us

My association with radios and electronics started at a very early age. My father repaired tv's to support the family.
After my service in the army as a radar tech and operator for hawk missiles I worked with the tv business.
I got my amateur radio ticket in December 1976, and still have my original call sign. Worked as a installer and maintenance person for christian FM radio stations in Illinois. Enjoyed it a lot. Got to old to do all the climbing (highest was 1600 feet) and decided to change professions.
Became an airplane mechanic and inspector.
Met a fabulous lady, the love of my life and moved to Florida twenty three years ago and love it. You couldn't get me back to Illinois.
We had the chance to meet up a few times with a friend of mine for 30 years and shared some good laughs. He is a great musical talent, person and amateur. God Bless you Ronnie.
I lost my love six years ago to cancer so now I spend most of my time spoiling my buddy, Nappy (cocapoo) which is my everything and doing a little radioing.
Have retired and enjoying it. Do a little trading and selling of radio gear. Yes ask, I got a little everything LOL.

Take care and God Bless. 73's
